In condition of acute liver damage by tetrachloromethane the hepatoprotective, membranostabilising and antioxidant actions of tablets of spirulina of ukranian production ( the firm «Veronex», Donetsk) were studied. For this the intact white rats which were intoxicated by tetrachloromethane and ones with spirulina tablets injections (500 mg/kg each day by per oral injections during 14 days) were studied. Livers from these animals and membranes endoplasmic reticulum isolated from its were as objects in these experiments after 7 days intoxication. It has been shown that treated-profilactic injections of this preparation have some antioxidant effect in conditions of the hepatotoxin intoxication decreasing the LPO products content in cells liver endoplasmic membranes, normalizing the physicochemical membrane’s parameters values (spectral and some fluorescent-zonding ones) and histomorphological picture as well in the liver.
