THE TOXICITY OF COPPER AND ITS COMBINATIONS. FIRST REPORT
(Literature Survey)

This literature survey is analysis of contemporary scientific information concerning a toxicity of copper and its combinations which penetrated into the organism by different pathways and also acute and chronic poisoning of peoples, including children of early age groups. The copper is considered as bioelement, therefore, was studied its role in vital functions of organism, processes of accumulation, distribution, metabolism, excretion, necessity in copper taking into account the age of individual.

Baced on the results of comparison of the data about toxicity of copper for peoples, want in copper and its acceptable levels of maintenance in environment and food products, it is concluded that an improvement of hygienic principles of the standardization of this element and revision of being regulations is necessary.
