INFLUENCE OF a-TOCOPHEROL AND ITS DERIVATIVE ON LIPID PEROXIDATION AND CONTENTS OF SOME LIVER CELL ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM MEMBRANES COMPONENTS DURING EXPERIMENTAL TOXIC HEPATITIS

It was shown in experiments on rats (180—250g b.w.) on model of chronic hepatitis caused by combined action of ethanol and CCL4 that a-tocopherol and its shortchain derivative could correct for some extent level of MDA synthesis, contents of cytochrome P450, b5 and different fractions of cholesterol in liver cell endoplasmic reticulum membranes.
