Abstract. Nephrotoxic action of iodide cesium under prolonged injection in doses of 0,2, 2,0 and 20,0 mg* kg-1 of body mass on the background of hypo-natrium diet was investigated. It was established that in conditions of hypo-natrium diet the elevation of iodide cesium dose resulted in decrease of diuretic reaction in response to water load for the account of inhibition of glomerular filtration's rate. In animals the retention azotemia was developed, the potassiumuresis was increased. Natrium-concentration in blood plasma was decreased, what was also followed with noncorresponding inhibition of proximal reasorbtion of natrium. On the background of urine pH the acidification of natrium dependend mechanisms were inhibited.
