EMBRYOSPECIFIC FACTOR ABILITY TO DECREASE OF ACUTE TETRACHLORMETHANE INTOXICATION IN RATS

D.V. Cherkashina, A.Yu. Petrenko

The possibility of acute tetrachlormethane (TCM) intoxication correction by means of rat embryospecific factor (ESF) pretreatment has been investigated. The pronounced preventive influence on liver injury degree evaluated with serum aminotransferase activity, albumin and TBA-active product content in 24, 48 and 72 hours after poisoning has been shown. Liver catalase activity, TBA-active product accumulation rate and basic level have been completely normalized after ESF pretreatment. Obtained results testify that ESF application is perspective for acute TCM-intoxication pretreatment.
