MECHANISMS OF INTOXICATIONS

THE PENTOXIPHILINE INFLUENCE ON PARAMETERS OF LIPIDS PEROXIDATION AND NITRITE CONTENT AT INTOXICATION CAUSED BY COBALT CHLORIDE

L.M. Samokhina, T.N. Bondar, S.V. Oksenenko

The pentoxiphiline (PF) influence on the lipids peroxidation (LPO) parameters and nitrogen oxide stable metabolite nitrite level in lung, heart, liver, kidney tissues of rats at oxidative stress, caused by cobalt chloride introduction, were investigated.

Under cobalt chloride injection the changes of lipid hydroperoxides, diene konjugates, ketodienes and coherent tryens levels in neutral lipids and phospholipides composition had tissue-specifity were established. It was revealed that the nitrite level rising correlates with increase of LPO parameters level.

It was marked, that preliminary PF introduction in a dose of 15 mg per 100 g body mass prior 2 h of cobalt сhloride influence, didn`t result in total normalization of PLO indices and nitrite level in tissues.
