HARMONIZATION OF METHODS OF EVALUATION OF TOXICITY OF PRODUCTS OF FIRE OF POLYMERS WITH THE INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS

The comparative analysis of the national and international standards regulating requirements to the toxicity of fire effluents of polymeric materials in laboratory experiments, given literature and results of own researches in this field is carried out. The presence of a number of essential differences in a technique of experiment statement and procedure of tests used equipment (installations for realization small scale experiences), and also criteria of the received results estimation is shown. A number of rules of the documents ISO and IEC is critically analyzed. First of all they concern the attitudes to the toxicological experiment on laboratory animals and character of the toxic components combined action of polymers fire effluents. On the basis of the carried out researches the concrete measures on harmonization of the prepared national normative documents (standard) by the toxicity of polymers burning products estimation are offered in view of experience saved by the domestic scientists and the experts.
