TOXICOLOGY OF PESTICIDES

АСUTE GROUP POISONING BY HERBICIDE DYCANITE, BASING ON 2,4-D ACID AND MEASURES OF PROPHYLACTICS

The case of poisining of 58 sugar-beet growers by herbicide Dycanite, basing on dimethylammonium salt of 2,4-D as a result of appearance in wind from neighbor field is discribed. Injured had complains on face skin burning, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, sevear muscle asthenia, especialy during moving. In clinical investigation asthenovegetative syndrome (95%) and vegetosensoring polyneuropaty of upper and lower extremities (62,1%) were discribed. Complex therapy of aсute group poisoning by herbicide Dycanite was based on methods that restore prosesses of oxidative phosphorilation, tissue hypoxia and functional status of cell membraines. Complex of prophylactic measures for prevention of acute pesticide poisoning under new conditions of agricultural management was proposed.
