Oxidative stress is a common step for the development of many diseased characterized by cytotoxic action by the intensiv ROS generation. Generation of hydroperoxide and peroxynitrite (sources of ROS species generation in cells) seems to be the key event in ROS cytotoxicity. Specific fentures of developing on oxidative stress, when the (TFN-, Fas-and other factors) programmed cell death (apoptosis) is induced, are analyzed.
