ALTERNATIVE METHODS AT THE PRECLINICAL TESTING OF THE DRUGS TOXICITY

At last time the prediction of pharmaceuticals toxicity by the testing on the experimental animals are exposed to profound criticism. The methods in vitro using for development and examination of pharmacological drugs has both advantage, and series of restrictions. So they require refinement with the count of influence on specific receptors, cumulation in an organism, formation of reactive metabolites, e.c. The toxicity of xenobiotics can be induced by their direct effect or by intermediates, which are formed as result of a biotransformation. Basing on dates of the literature introduced some the approaches to carrying out screening test for prediction of acute toxicity of compounds by in vitro methods.
