MECHANISMS OF INTOXICATIONS

THE INDUCTION OF CYTOCHROME P450 1A1, 1A2 AND 1B1 ISOFORMS AS WELL AS POLY-(ADP-RIBOSE)-POLYMERASE ACTIVATIVATION IN THE RAT LIVER CAUSED BY FITOESTROGENS

V.V. Sumbayev, I.M. Yasinska

It was established that injections of fitoestrogens - genistein and daidsein during 30 days cause the induction of cytochrome P450 1A1, 1A2 and 1B1 isoforms and activate the poly-(ADP-ribose)-polymerase in the rat liver. Suggested that cytochrome P450 1A1, 1A2 and 1B1 isoforms produce free superoxides that destroy DNA that induce the poly-(ADP-ribose)-polymerase activity.
