MECHANISMS OF INTOXICATIONS

ROLE OF NITRIC OXIDE, AMMONIUM, UREA IN MECHANISM OF N-NITROSODIMETHYLAMINE CYTOTOXIC ACTION

L.M. Smerdova, M.P. Dmitrenko

The investigations were held in vitro on model of NDMA-induced apoptosis of rat peritoneal macrophages. It was studied the influence of some effectors (arginine, canavanine, thioproline, glutamine, hypoxantine, valine) to nitric oxide, ammonium, urea synthesis and to cells viability. Our investigations established, that nitric oxide, ammonium, urea are not an active participants in mechanism of development of peritoneal macrophages death, but they play the main regulator role in mechanism of NDMA cytotoxic action.
