XENOBIOTIC-INDUCED LIVER INJURY

The various aspects of drug hepatotoxicity are discussed. The main mechanisms of xenobiotic-induced liver injuries, their clinical and biochemical manifestations heve been considered. Is has been show, that chemically reactive intermediate formation, neoantigenes, competition for substrates and coenzymes, and damage of membranous processes can be in the basis of drug hepatotoxicity.
