It has been investigated the influence of some effectors on the nitroprusside Na and papaverine induced apoptosis of thymocytes. It has been estimated such effectors as modulators of the nitric oxide's synthesis (arginine, N-methyl-arginine, L-canavanine), acceptors of NO (complex of diethylditiocarbomate with iron DTC-Fe, preparate "nitoxidel", thioproline), and xanthine oxidase, hypoxanthin, alopurinol.

It has been studied changes of thymocytes EPR-parameters under influence of mentioned effectors.

It has been determined that NO and O2- are important mediators of investigated thymosyte's apoptosis. Combined influences of nitroprusside Na and papaverin had indicated joint cytotoxic action of NO and O2- through different pathsways.
