Proceeding from literature date, contraceptives do not significantly influence the development of myocardial infarction and hypertension in subjects without IHD risk factors. The administration of contraceptives in presence of hypercholesteremia, diabetes, arterial hypertension, overweight, smoking, increased blood fibrinogen increase the risk of MI and hypertension in young women.
