TOXICOLOGICAL AND HYGIENIC EVALUATION OF HERBICIDE BAZAGRAN-M

The preparation BAZAGRAN-M is combined herbicide, in which structures are included bentazon and MCPA. We studied parameters of acute and chronic toxicity of BAZAGRAN-M, bentazon and MCPA using the data of firm BASF. Bazagran-M and its active ingredients are moderately toxic for of animals in different ways of application. Irritating and sensibilization is not revealed. Negative influence on reproductive function, mutagenic and cancerogenic of action is not revealed. The preparation BAZAGRAN-M can be classified as the third class of danger. Natural experiments have been carried out and the maximum allowable levels bentazon and МСРА in pea, rice, wheat have been studied. On the base of received results the maximum allowable levels of bentazon and MCPA in all of aforementioned products are recommended as "not allowed"(on a border of a method of determination). As a result of our studies BAZAGRAN-M is recommended for application on pea, rice and wheat.
