TOXICOLOGICAL AND HYGIENIC EVALUATION OF RISK OF APPLICATION CUMULUS DF 800 WG IN ORCHARDS AND VINEYARDS

Conditions of environment under application CUMULUS DF 800 WG (active ingredient — sulfur) were studied.

During application of formulation in orchards and vineyards sulfur in air was not detected. Insignificant quantitative of sulfur was found on skin of face and hands. However, calculated complex professional risk for workers under application of CUMULUS DF 800 WG was more than ten times lower than allowable value.

Initial concentrations of sulfur were higher on leaves in comparison with concentrations on apples and grapes.

In samples taken during harvesting (fruits, grapes) and in products of their processing (juice) no residues of sulfur were found.
