RAT BRAIN L-ALANINE AND L-GLUTAMATE PROTECTIVE EFFECTS AND CATABOLISM IN THE CASE OF CLOSED SPACE FACTORS ACTION

The speed a-carboxil — indicated ¹⁴CO₂ L-alanine and L-glutamate catabolism in the rat brain hemispheires in the case of closed space factors action is increased in the first stress stage (20 min) and decreased in the agonal condition (35–45 min). Preliminary injections of therapeutic equimolar doses (2,0 mmols per kg) of L-alanine and L-glutamate increase the speed of their catabolism to CO₂ and glutamatedecarboxilase activity. Also they prolong animal's life.
