LIMITING CONCENTRATIONS OF TOXIC SUBSTANCES IN AIR OF WORK ZONE: TRANSFORMATION, NORMATIVES,IDEAS, PECULIARITIES OF CONTROL

The article contains historical excursus in formation and development of conception of maximum allowable concentrations of hazardous substances in the air of industrial premises as the index of occupational safety in using of potentially hazardous chemical substances in different branches of national economy. Some theoretical and applied aspects of establishing of "dual" hygienic norms for industrial chemical pollutants are analyzed. The article contains specific recommendations on the improvement of the practice for carrying out the sanitary and chemical control of the environment.
