THE MECHANISMS OF INTOXICATIONS

AGE-DEPENDENT CHANGES OF LIPID PEROXIDATION INTENSITY AND ITS ROLE IN THE RENAL FUNCTION DISTURBANCE IN RATS IN CONDITIONS OF CESIUM INTOXICATION

L.I. Vlasik

In experiments with randombred autbred male rats the intensification of lipid perioxidation (LPO) in the cortical substance of the kidneys after intragastrical introducing of iodide cesium in doses of 20,0 mg/kg of body mass during 28 days was investigated. It was established that the increasing of LPO actitvity in the cortical substance of the kidneys under influence of iodide cesium had caused the depressing of sodium transportation in the proximal department of the nephrone of young and old rats. The decreasing of fermental antioxidant systems activity in the kidneys cortical substance of the old rats under influence of iodide cesium redoubles the transgression of sodium transportation and forms of patological system on the base of extraordinary activation of tubular-glomerular return connection.
