TREATMENT OF INTOXICATIONS

ANTIDOTAL EFFECTIVENESS OF RESYNTHESIZED UNITIOL

It was established in experiments on white mouses and rats, that unitiol resynthesized at Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine had antidotal efficiency in chloride of cadmium and chloride of mercury poisoning.

Clinical testing, which took place at the Institute of Labour Medicine, allowed to specify, that the use of unitiol by workers, which had been long contacting with metallic mercury, lad to increase of excreting of mercury with urine.
