In experiments on rats (180—250g b.w.) influence of a-tocopherolacetate and its derivative on hydroxyproline contents in serum and liver pool, levels of glucose in serum and glicogen in liver, serum free, esterified and total cholesterol contents during toxic hepatitis have been studied. It was shown that a-tocopherolacetate and its shortchain derivative could normalise hydroxyproline contents in serum and liver pool, levels of glucose in serum and glicogen in liver, serum free, esterified and total cholesterol contents during this pathology in dose 10 mg/kg b.w.
