The decrease in resistance and increase in 5'-nucleotidase erythrocyte activity as well as the viability reduction and tymocytes intense destruction in thymus have been observed for the rats after 2 months of intragastrical injecting dried potato germs (2,25 g per 1 kg of weight) daily. The changes in electron paramagnetic resonance characteristics have been fixed that points to inhibiting electronic-transport function of internal membrane of liver mithochondria and increasing methemoglobin level. The lipid peroxydation processes intensification and reduction of catalase activity in liver and blood serum have been testified. The membrane tropic and prooxidantional direction of the changes mentioned seems to be associated with an effect of potato a-solanine and a-chaconine on the organism. The decrease in butyryl- and acetylcholinesterase activities of blood serum and erythrocyte "shadows" of the rats examined supports this idea.
