MECHANISMS OF INTOXICATIONS

ASSESSMENT OF CALCIUM ALGINATE INFLUENCE ON NONSPECIFIC RESISTANCE OF WHITE RAT ORGANISM WITH LEAD INTOXICATION

N.M. Dmytrukha

The state of nonspecific resistance was studied in 4 rat's groups: control group; rats with isolated intraperitonial injections of lead acetate (2,5 mg/100 g); rats with calcium alginate supplement (400 mg per rat) and calcium alginate supplement in lead acetate exposure rats. It was establishment that lead depressed the nonspecific body defense of rat organism. The stimulated effects was observed with calcium supplement in lead exposure rats. Calcium alginate enhanced phagocytic and bactericidal activity of neutrophyls, increased of serum opsonins property, decreased of circulating immune complexes after restorative period.
