TREATMENT OF INTOXICATIONS

TO CLINICAL ASPECT AND TREATMENT OF NEUROLOGIC AND ADOMINAL DISTURBANCES WITH THE CHRONIC LEAD INTOXICATION

The work studies the interconnection of neurologic and adominal disturbances with the chronic lead intoxication. The basic manifestationo of the lead damage of nervous system for the inspected patients were asthenovegetative syndrome (75%) with the vegetative crises of predominantly simtomatic adrenal nature, toxigenic encephalopathy (25%), vegetative-sensory poly-neuropathy of upper and lower extremities (58,3%). The damages of gastrointestinal tract were characterized by the development of subtrophic gastritis, erosive gastritis and gastroduodenitis, spastic colitis and recidivist intestinal colic. The close interconnection between the demonstration of neurologic and adominal disturbances was revealed. The manifestation of clinical symptoms depended on the content of lead in the environmental, the intensity of the disturbance of porphyrin exchange, metabolic endotoxicosis and level of the circulating small pathogenic immune complexes. An increase in the effectiveness of the treatment is caused by the contributes the combined application of Unithiol, carbonic entero-absorption, cytoprotectors and antioxidants.
