ENVIRONMENTAL AND OCCUPATIONAL ASPECTS OF EXOGENOUS ALLERGIC ALVEOLITIS (review)

The Review summarizes the basic environmental and occupational etiological agents that may cause a development of exogenous allergic alveolitis (ЕАА). Pathophysiological mechanisms of ЕАА development and clinical signs of acute and chronic ЕАА are presented together with the methods for diagnosis of ЕАА. Incidence of ЕАА in different target occupational groups has been analyzed under different industrial conditions. Fundamentals of the prevention of ЕАА and decrease in its morbidity are set forth.
