ECOLOGICAL TOXICOLOGY
INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL STANDARDS OF DRINKING WATER QUALITY IN UKRAINE. TOXICOLOGICAL-HYGIENIC ASPECTS R.Ye. Sova, N.A. Kariakina, S.V. Snoz, V.F. Shilina It had been discussed the problems related with organic compounds, which are obligatory for control in drinking water — trihalomethanes. It was elucidated the main aspects of toxic action and real levels of these compounds in water, discussed the effects of chlorination processes on the trihalomethanes concentration in drinking water. The measures for their application in Ukraine are recommended on the base of comparative analysis of WHO recommended and national standards for trihalomethanes in drinking water. |
