INFLUENCE OF N-ACETHYL-L-CYSTEINE ON AMNESTIC ЕFFECT OF PIRETHROID INSECTICIDE DELTAMETHRINE

Pirethroid insecticide deltametrine (1,5-7,5 mg/kg іp) disturbs training and memory (in the passive and active evoidence behavioral tests). In a previous study it has been shown deltamethrine (7,5 mg/kg ip) activated lipid peroxidation in the brain in vivo and effected as prooxidant in vitro. But N-аcethyl-L-cysteine (600 mg/kg ip 60 min before deltamethrine) had no effect on memory disturbances, caused by pirethroid neurotoxic effect.
