PHARMACOCORRECTION OF A CONVULSIVE SYNDROME IN ACUTE TRIETHYLAMINE INTOXICATION

V.G. Duzhak, Yu.A. Zhogov, I.V. Lyscnko

Possibility of correction of a convulsive syndrome caused by triethylamine HC1 was estimated on Wistar rats, rabbits and white mice by means of toxicometry, electroencephalography and -myography. It was established experimentally that phenobarbital didn't exert protective effect on the indices of survival, EEG and EMG. Taurin increased survival and improved EEG indices in rats, but not in white mice. Phenazepam 3 mg/kg promoted increase of white mice and Wistar rats survival and increased DL50 for rabbits by 2,6 times, changed EMG and exerted weak influence on EEG.
