ACUTE TOXICITY OF SEVERAL 6-AMINOETHIL-6H-INDOLO[2,3-B]QUINOXALINE DERIVATIVES

Newly synthesized derivatives of 6-aminoethil-6H-indolo[2,3-b]quinoxaline proved to be effective antiviral agents and interferon inducers in vitro. To ensure the relevance of subsequent research, in vivo toxicity of the compounds was established. Significant and veracious inversely proportional dependence between acute toxicity and lipophilicity of the investigated aminoethilindoloquinoxaline derivatives was established. Further research priorities are chronic toxicity testing, the study of mutagenicity, anticancer-, immunomodulating- and antiviral action of the compounds.
